Definition of LOVE

Its been awhile i didnt login onto my multiply, i smile wen reading thru what i wrote there hehe where obviously i love to answer that question games thingy! But i loved all the pics that i had posted..

Anyway, here's on of my favorite topic in my previous blog and m very delighted to share it here... I received few replied from my frens where i surely knew whatever they wrote came deep from their heart. Personally i know it is hard sometime to know which direction to go in our life and that same goes to love....

PS: Feel free to share more of your thoughts and advise.

**A lot of people asking, how do we define LOVE? What is love? How is it feel? How do you consider it is a true love?
Does it really important to us nowadays or can it just grow after marriage?

From Norul, 30/09/06 says
Love?! A big word after all... Having alot of meanings. If me personally i use to tell this to my first Lover & whom i miss so much till now.. for me Love means "Make my hearts smiles, bright my days with your love & make me the happiest person in your life and never stop loving me"..

True love..it does happen & i believe it does exist,no doubt abt it.. for me the important abt love does matters. Before & after getting married. If you don't have the feeling towards ur partner how can u love him / her? if u plan to get married wz him / her & u don't have the feeling bit, too bad my fren i don't know how can u plan ur life ahead with that person.
It takes a minute to fall in love but its forever to forget how u use to love dat person.
Love s blind forsure but den don't let it trick u up.
Love s a beautiful thing dat ain't descibe by words.
I can tell to d person dat i love how much i love him by my action, words & mostly from the bottom of my heart. when u are in love ur hearts speaks and tell the meaning of LOVE.
I can't say much abt love after marriage as I'm still single and looking forward to be love after marriage..InsAllah..
One thing for sure, LOVE is everything...it can makes u smile and it can make u cry..love speaks by its own words..

Love.. we been surrounded by love after the seconds we were born.. the seconds the father lift the child up n shows to the mother.. all the mother labour’s pain was gone and her eyes were fill with love… (maybe lah… I never ask my mom about it but.. I think I felt it ever since I was born into the world, very confident in this!)

and STILL people don’t believe in love! Saying there no such things as love…that love does not exist! I think this people are born in a very very cruel world. Palestinian knows how to love even been living in a war and never felt peace ever since Islam was introduce to the world by our prophet!
U can call it puppy love, monkey love, romeo n Juliet love, first love and etc. but the thing is that You will never know true happiness
until you have truly loved, and you will never understand
what pain really is until you have lost it. Kan?
So where is the love? Does love exist only for the first few months or years and then disappear! Only when we were boy friend n girlfriend we hold hands not after marriage?.. coz you can see or count in Brunei that how many married people still hold hands if going out together! No many huh! The sad things that I ve seen is the husband will leave the wife at the back across the road.. he will be across sudah!! seems like ia nda kenal bininya atu! Please at least watch her across safely… or open the car door for her! Compliment her cooking! Kiss her forehead before going to work!. We don’t see this a lot anymore here in Brunei! Masa bf n gf bukan main! Nda lapas lagi!!
Love is not only having sex but still having great sex even you are in the 50’s ! it’s the sacrifice that we made to make our opposite happy! Even a silly jokes that make them smile is enuf to tell that we cared! Buy flowers for the wife! Not everyday but on special occasion like birthdays or anniversary! Ani haribulan kawin pun nda ingat!! Baru jua 2 tahun kawin!! Yang sedih lagi, haribulan ia hari jadi buleh lupa!! The thing I want to point is salam tangan…or kiss on the cheeks..! this is a good way to appreciate love or set example to the young ones! Before going to work.. salam tangan n kiss on the forehead or cheeks… let the children watch.. so there know there is a lot of love in the family! Jangan tah malu!!.... masa alum kawin berani bercium2 di khalayak ramai! Atu plang nda malu!!
Hmm… I think I m out of topic kali nie..hahaha……. i m suppose to talk about love!
For me I still believe in love at first sight and also falling to someone who had the personality of my mother!!! Why??
I ve heard this saying of we will find and choose our husband or wife with the same personality of our mother. I also know that if I were to ask those same men and women to describe their mothers, there would be many similarities between their ideal soulmates with their moms. Yes, our mothers--the first real love of our lives—If you don’t believe me just see it for yourself!!
When we're little, our mother is the center of our attention, and we are the center of hers. So our mother's characteristics leave an powerful impression, and we are forever after attracted to people with her facial features, body type, personality, even sense of humor. If our mother was warm and giving, as adults we tend to be attracted to people who are warm and giving. If our mother was strong and even-tempered, we are going to be attracted to a fair-minded strength in our mates.
For daughters… You just see and be quite attracted to a guys which had your father figure!!! Ialah kalau dalam keluarga kalau laki2 ia akan rapat sama mamanya and kalau bini2 ia akan rapat arah bapanya!!
Enough said in here…… I hope u enjoyed it!!

Hey babe, It was short the last time i gave you my opinion as i didn’t had the time here is the continuation of it..Cheers babe..

Love is a profound feeling of tender affection for or intense attraction to another. As what ur fren have said, love comes into different types... You named it..True Love, Puppy Love, Romantic Love, Lust Love, Family Love...etc...
As a famous quote says:
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love never fails.
True love is popularly held to be the emotion of loving someone without restraint and without restriction. Usually, true love is described as love without condition, motive or attachment, loving someone just because they are themselves, not because of their actions or beliefs.
Love at first sight is when a person feels romantic passion for a complete stranger upon his or her initial encounter with the stranger. The term can be used casually to refer to a mere sexual attraction or crush, but it usually refers to actually falling in love with someone literally the very first time one sees him or her, along with the deep desire to have an intimate relationship with that person. The stranger may or may not be aware that the other person has any such notion, and may not even be aware of the other person's presence (such as in a crowded place). Sometimes two people experience this phenomenon towards each other at the same time, usually when their eyes meet.
Having said all above, I guess its all up to us to judge what does love means to you..

Feza, 02/10/06 says
Definition of L.O.V.E?? love don't happen everyday, it happens and it blooms in one's heart without you realising it... you cant just say u're in love from a 1st scene, it will take more years for u to develop the feelings... love need to have patience, endurance, learning and understand... and most important TIME.. you need to have time to be in love, how we stick to each other like parents n children :- they have a born love as they have all the points to be in love...
No one will know when they are having a true love... we cant becos we shall die n nutin stays true n endless... we wont have a true love... we can only feel the love for a moment of time which is true...
Some factors can changes the meaning of LOVE... As we are born not to be perfect humans, we should bare in mind that love changes from time to time...
BUT my fren, for now we just enjoy ourselves and appreciate the love that we have and be ready for the journey of life... LOVE will take time....
Cheers Babe!!!!!

A'salam & hey..

for long i wanted to reply ur comments abt your opinion abt the above topics.I strongly agree on your comments and It caught my attention on the part abt "personality of Mothers..." Correct me if I'm wrong yeah, Mothers are our role model. She sacrifice anything for her children happiness and her love are undefinable..No matter how she is angry towards us, deep down in her heart her LOVE never changed and ends..and one day i myself would do the same thing, InsAllah..We cant be exactly as our Mother but we will portrait our own way of loving..
No offence yeah, Not all daughters are closed to their dad & Vice Versa..
Its alwz a dream for every ladies to have their Mr Right yang ada "Future Father Character" .. That's important to us ladies because from there we can measure how the guy would guide his family in the future. But that would not happen if the Hubby doesn't make it happen..they might say it but not showing it..No point showing and saying all promises before getting married and after "SAH" being husband and wife, dos promises are just for display...
Win your lady's heart by showing such character, i bet she would be the luckiest lady on earth to have you as her Best Friend, BF, Lover and future Hubby...

Taken from the previous quote that ikoqu304 posted, I would like to add on it:

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” 1 corinthians 13:4-7
True love is unconditional. No matter, how many times your partner has wrong you, you still forgive and take the him/her back. It is also about commitment and trust for that person. I believe if you commit yourself to one person in your life you wouldn’t have open your heart to anyone else. I have to give my heart out and salute those who went through arranged marriage because they last longer than most love marriages. It is about their trust, choice and commitment. Usually parents are those who arranged for their daughters/sons marriage, they know who will suit them better and the family background etc. Love from there will develop after their marriage.
But love marriages is still the best but you must be able to except everything that is of your partner especially his/her weaknesses and that you must be able to deal with it without any feeling of unhappiness and regrets. Love should made people feel happy, secured and appreciated.
Quoted: “It is possible to feel romantic love for more than one person at a given time. Just think, if it is possible for you to love both of your parents at the same time why would it be impossible to feel romantic love for two people at once? Don't beat yourself up emotionally if you find yourself in this unhappy situation.” But in the end you still have to choose to whom you would like to spend your whole life by looking at circumstances. From there, comes choice and commitment once again. That’s what true love is all about.
All to all, It ends with that LOVE IS A DECISION. If you are able to love the person with that first quote above… with your heart-filled commitment. It is LOVE.
Hugs!

Norul, 13/12/06 says
Love...a never ending story.. I agree with JOJO17 on her statement saying about choice & commitment...

Having saying that, Love is surely important in everybody's life. Regardless who u are..We need love no matter what. Love is all around us & ask ur self with love u can forgive a person no matter how big his/her mistake which he/she have done... And trust me, i have tried..i feel peace in my heart..
Muahhzzz...

Friday, May 23

We recently welcomed a production team from Australia, Forte Communications. The team were here from 15-20 May to do a filming for an international television series called “Chefs of The Great Hotels of the World”.

“Chefs of The Great Hotels of The World” is a popular television series on travel and food and featured the great chefs from the best 5-star hotels around the world. Brunei will be featured in for 30 minutes onto this travel and food guide TV series. Other hotels that have participated previously were Le Meurice Hotel - Paris, Savoy Hotel - London, Adlon Hotel – Berlin, Hotel Corvinus Kempinski – Budapest, Ritz-Carlton Hotel – San Francisco, Raffles Hotel – Singapore, Taj Resort – Mauritius and more. With the estimation of the ultimate total global audience in excess of 100 million viewers per episode, the series has been seen on television broadcast throughout the world including USA, Europe, Japan, Meddle East, Australia and Asia.

They spent two days filming on 'behind the scene' at the back of house of the hotel activities with first hand experience on daily meals preparation together with an exclusive interview with the Hotel’s Executive Chef, Thomas Walter where he shared his passion of cooking. (hehe... i loves the word 'passion' here)

Mr. Brown from Forte Communications also saying that although Brunei is a small country there are a lot of interesting things and places that can be offered, he is truly amazed with the friendliness of the local people. ** I agreed with this! so proud to be a Bruneian :) **

what the good things i did today?

Thursday, May 22

started my thursday morning with an unpleasant feeling hehe, well 'i kena sindir2 syg ngan GM' :p
anyway, FYI .. it does not affect my mood in any way to keep myself 'proactive' and 'aggressive' at doing my daily task [haha.. this will pissed someone out there!] Erm.. quite a hectic day as Father's Day is approaching soon and theres still a lot of things to follow up, my schedule towards to month end quite tight up so i have to reschedule few things in June :(

Last night was my first class after the semester break. Well it was so so lah since it was only an introductory topic. Honestly m not quite interested with the discussion, maybe because m in the marketing field for years and learning back to theory doesn't really attract me much! i login to the informatics website last night to look out for my assignments result, alhamdulilah i got 86% for my POM, 73% on my economics and 80% on my managements. Thanks to all my friends for your support and guidance especially on 'eco'. But this are not final marks yet as I am still waiting for my final results next week. Wish me luck!

Owh by the way, i enjoyed having my desert last night, how i wish i can have it again tonight hehe.. :p Can kah my fren? Thanks :)

i listen to this conversation on air few days back on 'how would you selects your employee?' do you prefer to have someone educated but without working experience or someone that is knowledgeable to the job that been offered. It is quite interesting tho' with our life today 'business' getting more aggressive in promoting their products and services. Will 'they' be hiring those people that already in the industry and have a wide product knowledge or will they choose a fresh graduates and take the risks to teach them for few months and by the end they will leave for better offers at government offices? from my point of view, its up to the employer itself.. basically they knew it from the first impression when they conducted the interview, how well this people can impressed them. For me there's no different if you are getting an educated or knowledgeable individual because by the end of the day... as long as this person is giving an impressive work performance and benefits the company, there's nothing to regret.

Owh, its late and i am still in the office. My phone keep buzzing with back and forth messages why i am not home yet :) ok ok lah i am login out now.

PS: Thanks to my friends that sent me messages earlier on how i look 'splendid' in the papers today and it will help to increase their personal collections! hahaha... u guys are so funny!

**Watch this space for new photos on the Mother's Day prize presentation tomorrow and FINALLY a casual gathering at Joji's place will also take place tomorrow night! Look forward to it... hehe i like toh! more things to share :)

InnerSpace has generously sponsored us with a beautiful stunning necklace for the first 300 customers that spend $200 above plus special dicount vouchers too! i took few shots of the necklace but has my half has deleted it from my camera! :(

this week itself, we have tow major events goin on at the same time. Last thursday, 2nd Consumer Fair at ICC was officially launched by Dato Hamdillah as early at 9am :). I arrived quite late since I was informed that the event will start at 10am. Thank you to Brunei Tourism for inviting us to participate with the exhibition... this year, we could see more companies took the chance to join the exhibition and i like the set up this year. i met many new faces this year to from the tourism industries, good to know you guys! hope we meet again soon....

DST has launched the more awaited 'Go Broadband' on thursday too at the empire where it was officially launched by His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince. I missed the event since I was at the ICC to supervise the booth anyway I managed to attend the invitation to the opening of the DST Roadshow at amphitheatre, jerudong park on friday. Thank god it was not that hot and the event was good too tho they were expecting more crowd during the opening. No worries, i believe for the next two days it will attract more crowds since there will be performance from brunei talented local artistes and not forgetting 'fireworks' on saturday nite! meet up wit few DST seniors offcr for a lil chat n i left soon after the launching.

I am still downloading the pics from my camera, where it already took me almost 15mins to wait! nevermind.. just continue writing :)
